Over the past year I have observe teachers facing difficult to teach the concept of photosynthesis. Moreover I too found challenging to convey information hand this particular topic , photosynthesis. I thought the use of ICT would be more effective to teach the topic.
For this lesson I used the picture animation of the how plants prepare their own food using carbon dioxide water and sun light. Students were able to understand how carbon dioxide from atmosphere diffuses into the leaves and water absorbed by the roots. The song on photosynthesis played to them really enjoyed the students.
Used of ICT in classroom is found time consuming and challenging, however if things are properly plan in advance, use of ICT is the most effect tool in teaching.
Very good idea sir. We can teach such topic through simulation and video tutorial. It is very effective la. I also did the similar manner as you have done la. Usually all the science resources are available in the net. Only thing is we need to select the best that suit to the level of the topic. Keep it up sir.

ReplyDeleteOur textbook contains limited print information and sometimes we find tough time to explain the clear concept and therefore using ict will clear many of the doubts. Even in the new revised science text for abstract topics they have given web link to find out more i information. So therefore using ict like internet....projector to screen information to our learner will enhance our learners understanding. Good work.
